For family history researchers, we have a wealth of indexes, compiled information and genealogies, plus original records and photos about Racine County residents. You won't find such a collection elsewhere. We've copied tombstone inscriptions, compiled obituaries, collected photographs, photocopied religious vital records, and indexed newspapers, naturalization and census records.
For local history researchers, we have information about the county's history and development, its companies and products, ethnic groups, religious congregations, government, transportation, military involvement, sports and leisure, education, and organizations. We have information about Made In Racine items and Racine County companies.
For building researchers, you may take a virtual walk down many Racine County streets and roads, block by block, through our photographic collection, or find when your building address was first listed in a directory.
We have a reputation of helping people find materials on a specific topic "faster than the internet," and we're also good for conversations on history topics. On-line indexes won't appear for several years, so do visit us or ask us to do a search for you.
